Staff Appreciation Week is May 2-6! The Parent-Teacher League (PTL) is
planning different ways to make the week special for our teachers.
PTL is seeking parents who would be willing to supervise lunch and recess for a class so that all of our teachers can have DUTY FREE LUNCH for the entire week. If you are available from 11:15-12pm or 12-12:40pm to help in a classroom, please contact
Anna DeGraaf (anna@degraafs.com). Our teachers eat lunch 3-5 days a week with their class, so this is a special treat for them. Thanks for helping make it happen!

Thursday, May 5, PTL is planning a COOKIE BUFFET for our teachers. Families can bring in a plate of homemade cookies (or other yummy treats!) before or during school on May 5th. After school, the teachers will visit the “Buffet” and take home a box of homemade treats. Contact Amanda Haan at 396-7226 if you have any questions or would like to help set up the buffet on the afternoon of May 5.
On Friday, May 6th, the PTL will be selling flowers before school for $1 each. The flowers will be given to staff members on that day. You are also welcome to bring flowers from your own garden. The students are encouraged to write a note for their favorite staff members to include with the flower. If you have any questions, please contact any of the PTL Board members.
Additionally, We will be pampering our staff with a Mon. morning breakfast, Lunch on Tues. & Wed., Coffee shop specialty drinks on Thurs., and gifts on Fri.
